Bellefield Tools was established in 1966 – In 1984 Jimmy Myburgh broke away and started Bellefield Tooling and was joined by his sons Shane and Kurt (see left). Between us we have years of experience in the manufacturing of tungsten carbide tooling. We pride ourselves in offering products of a high quality and offer personal service with excellent turn around times.

In 2004 we bought out a company called Reef Diamond Techniques, which import a wide range of products for the industry. The two companies now run hand in hand.

Reef Diamond Techniques imports a wide range of quality products to suit your industries needs.

We bring in grinding wheels – diamond and borozon from Wendt and Rappold. We also have a wide range of slot drills, end mills, ball nose cutters, tungsten carbide cutters and jobber drills. These we import from M.A Ford.

Other products we import are:

Carbide Rods & Strips, Taps, Polishing stones, Files, Machine Vices, Polishing Machines, Electroplated Pins

Bellefield Tooling manufacture, with our main area of expertise being specialised tooling for the motor & mining industry, specifically- in form inserts, form cutters and a wide range of form and core drills. All of these are manufactured from tungsten carbide or high speed steel.

Tungsten tipped boring and form tools for automatic production machines, as well as tungsten carbide & high speed steel spade drills also form a big part of our manufacturing portfolio.

We also supply standard brazed tools, the size and shape can be altered to suit the specific needs of the client.

Other services offered are the sharpening of milling cutters and grinding of radius’s, face cutters, slot drills and end mills.

General engineering is also an important part of our production. Wear plates, as well as numerous other components for the mining industry are examples.

We can also assist you with any wire cutting requirements, the cutting of carbide dies, carbide form tools, punches and broaches.
